FAQ:

Can I take this course as a beginner?
Yes! You can absolutely take this course as a beginner without any previous experience. Providing template projects to kickstart your process, I will guide you through from start to finish without any skipping. Each step will be carefully showed and explained, so you can follow along.

What is included in this course?
Provided animated 3D model in .alembic format.
– Houdini simulation and template Project Files.
– After Effects Project File and Assets.

What if I want to use another model than the provided 3D model in the course?
That’s one of the coolest things about this course, you can use this exact workflow for any 3D model you want and I will show you how to control the water for specific situations.

Do I need any plugs ins?
No plugins are used! All you need is Houdini 20, Unreal Engine 5 and After Effects.

What are the recommended PC specs?
I do recommend some decent hardware, since the simulation and rendering is quite heavy. Here are my specifications: GeForce GTX 1660 OC Intel 660p 1TB AMD Ryzen 5 3600X 6 Core 3.8GHz ASUS ROG STRIX B450 Gaming Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3200 C16 128GB.
Please note: 128GB Ram is not necessary, the dragon project and boat project was created with the same specs, but with only 32GB Ram.
